Welcome to the Jessica & Friends Community Website. One of the cornerstones of the ministry of Jessica & Friends Community is to provide resources to the families and caregivers of individuals with developmental disabilities. Hopefully, through this website, our organization is helping to meet that need.

The history of our organization is a wonderful story and I hope you are able to take the time to read about it on our website. We have been blessed in so many ways as we have grown to be who we are. As we look towards the future, we will aim to be good stewards with what we’ve been given.

Jessica and Friends Community, as part of its vision, one day hopes to provide unsubsidized private employment to Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. Hosanna Ringers

The Hosanna Ringers are a musical group that delights in “ringing” their praises to God. They represent the ministry of Jessica & Friends Community, which provides faith-based support and services for individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities. They perform with both hand bells and chimes. The Hosanna Ringers are always looking for more opportunities to play for churches and nursing homes.

Other ministry talents are shared with the audience as well such as drama, playing different instruments, bible reading and a time of prayer. Their ultimate goal is to share God’s love, presence, and tenderness with the people in the different areas where they minister. In the nursing homes, they hope to bring the light of God so the audience can know that God is there.

This ministry gives the individuals a sense of pride and accomplishment; it builds confidence and strong friendships. It means so much to the members of the Hosanna Ringers to be able to give to others and share of themselves with all those to whom they minister!

The Hosanna Ringers are funded through Jessica & Friends Community’s ministry funds which are funds that are donated by friends of J&FC.

Human Resources/Compliance: This position will assist in the administrative function of the organization. It is a full time position typically working 8-4:30, with some evenings and weekends. The selected candidate must have a college degree with some administrative background. The position will report to Mike Wagner, Executive Director.

Featured at the Lancaster Bible College weekly chapel will be Jessica & Friends Community and the WINGS program from Church of the Open Door. This will take place on Thursday, April 11 at 9:10 a.m. The Hosanna Ringers, as well as the Pathway Players, will perform. On Sunday, June 25, Jessica & Friends Community will be sponsoring the Sounds of Summer Concert at Springettsbury Township Park, located on Mt. Zion Road in York. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. The Hosanna Ringers will play before the featured act. Look for more details in the next months.
